We’re safely in Wanaka with Polie friends. Buying some basics, then on to qtown for the night.
Sounds like the Grand Chancellor back in CHCH is about to collapse with our stuff inside. Could be a lot worse – we believe all the people got out.
Sad: laptop with all photos is in hotel.
Glad: laptop is backed up.
Sad: backup disk is also in hotel.
