Learning the Lines

Just a brief note here with an announcement:

I’m tickled pink to share that “Learning the Lines,” a song Jay Hagar and I recorded, has taken second place in the Port Gamble Maritime Music Festival’s annual songwriting contest! (This year’s theme was “Learning the Ropes”)

Come hear us onstage in Port Gamble on August 10th, or have a listen to the recording over at https://davidpablocohn.bandcamp.com/

Many thanks to Jay, and to Emily Groff and to Colin at Rainshadow Recording for making it happen, and of course to the judges of the Port Gamble festival’s contest.

  1. You sound Awesome! Nice tune and lyrics. Dave and I just had a listen. We are taking a break at home after the worst fish opening ever. No fish! We will try again soon. The morning bite was not there. No one was catching. We will do our best to see you on 8/10 live.

  2. Wonderful. So happy that your song was recognized. I found it quite moving, both the words and the music.
